March Madness... April Showers

Well, it has officially been a couple of crazy months. Between my birthday, Spring Training, Las Vegas (Knight Rider Convention), and all of Sean's big moments... things have been crazy. Well, as many of you know. I officially turned 29 this year.Yes... I'm get old. Things have been very constant in the last couple of months and one thing that has not changed is the fact that I am constantly on the run. Sean is now attending a Mommy and Me classes with his Nannie, and he is enjoying every minute of it, but Nannie says it is not long enough. Ryan is finally off "probation" at work and anxiously awaiting his interview with the FFA in April , and I am just praying for the year to come to a successful end without having bloodshed amongst my assistance at work. All in all lets just say, it has been a LONG year at work.

As for around here, the boys and I have done our best to get the traveling bug out of our system early this year. The problem is, we dont know if or when Ryan is leaving for Oklahoma, so we can't plan anything for this summer. So, so far we have gone to Arizona for Spring training, where Sean took pictures with quiet a few Hall of Fame baseball players, and Joe Saunders of the Angels. We also managed to make it down to Prescott Az. to visit some friends where despite a massive allergic reaction from Sean, we really had a great time.

We have also managed an overnight trip to Las Vegas to go the the Knight Rider Convention, where once again Sean was the hit of show. He managed to get some serious hang out time with the main actor from the new Knight Rider series... not to mention Mommy totally enjoyed the eye candy, and Ryan was bummed that he did not get to see the girl that played Sarah in the show. However, Daddy got his excitement when he saw our room and realized that he could see all of Las Vegas including the airport.

Now for April,
I have been on Spring Break for the last week, and have seriously enjoyed my time off. We managed to go see Disney on Ice, and managed to squeeze in our first ball game of the year. Sadly, it was the day before the tragic loss of Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart. While on Spring Break Sean managed to get a new BIG BOY BED which he sleeps in very well, and he absolutely loves. Coming up for this month, Ryan has an interview with the FAA, and we have a baby shower for Aly Cat... I cant wait. I will keep in touch....

Where to Begin

Recently, I viewed a blog posted by my friends Steve and Shelly. It was very nice to read up on how good the kids are going and other things going on with them. With that, I decided that this might be something rather fun to do. So with that said, I have decided to start my own Blog. Now, if anyone reads it that would be a whole other story. Guess we will have to wait and find out. But with a rapidly grown 1 year old, keeping up to speed is easier said then done.

So to start... Sean is now 15th months old, and boy has that started out with a bang. First, we had shots, and snow. Then, we started temper tantrum and attitudes. And finally, we have our first major injury to report. On Saturday, Sean's fingers came in contact with the bathroom door. And boy did it cause a riot. Sadly, Kenzie ( our babysitter daughter) really had to go potty and she was running to the restroom. As she went to shut the door. Sean was right on her heals and unfortunately Sean's finger wound up rather squished. Poor Kenzie was so heartbroken, you would have thought she lost her favorite action figure (shes not into dollies). She was crying, Sean was crying... I was trying not to cry. In the end we had a squished finger, a nail that fell off, and one big boo boo. But, we know that accidents happen, and Sean still loves Kenzie more then ever... and so do I. I think Sean loves her even more because he got some new cars out of the deal. I am just grateful that Sean's first boo boo not only happened when I was with him and not when I was at work, but also that it was nothing major. A banged up finger we can handle.

On a happy note, Sean's vocabulary is getting increasingly larger as we speak. He has a vocabulary of over 30 words and he is signing about 7. Not bad at all. Some days I can not get him to stop chattering. Sean has also proven to be a great eater. This boy with eat anything you put in front of him.

As for Ryan and I.. things are the same. He is now working for Target, and I am just praying I have a job next school year. All of these budget cuts are a scary thing. Basically, we are praying for the best. We are also planning a trip to Arizona in March. We are going to spring training.. Sean should be a blast this year. We really can not wait.
