LUCKY DUDE

So after returning for the river this last weekend we were told that our friend Big Glenn found a baby Desert Tortise in his back yard. Immediatly I sent him a message saying if it needed a new home we would love to have it. (I have been thinking about a turtle for Sean for awhile now). We went to store, bought all the stuff the little guy will need to thrive and now tomorrow he will arrive at his new home. He is still a baby and is very very tiny. (About the size of a silver dollar) He is going to take a long while to grow, but I think that he will do great things living with us. I can't wait for Sean to meet his new buddy. Also known as LUCKY-DUDE. Do to the fact he almost was a victim of the lawn mower. Ahh the adventure begins. Pictures to be posted shortly

River Friends and Relaxation

Wow... what a wonderful weekend. Decided to head to the river with friends and t turned out to be the best trip in a long time. We enjoyed the quiet river house, the wonderful cove, and most of all good friends. The kids played in the water and with eachother while the adults snacked and played cards. Even though it was a great weekend it was also very long. We arrived at the river house very late on friday. Once we got there the little ones had a huge burst of energy and they were ready to go. And believe me when I say they went all weekend. They play so well together it is nice. Now, it is back to work for another day of craziness. Oh how quick times flies when you are having fun.. and laying on the floor board of a truck (right Shells)

Well, for my simple blog. I got my new stove today and love it. I can not wait to cook on it tonight. It is beautiful. Much better then that yellow one I had. Hope everyone ois enjoying there break as much as me. Tina
